QUIZLET
Quizlet is an engagement tool that allows students to review content on flashcards. Students have multiple options to learn content- they can flip flashcards, type the word from text clues, and type the word from audio clues. In the test mode, students can try written, true/false, multiple choice, and matching questions- these activities can be printed and utilized for review purposes. Students can play with words with a scatter game (great for interactive white board use) and protect their planet by typing words down using the gravity mode. Additionally, the Quizlet Live feature is an excellent way to review content in groups.
Quizlet is free, however, teachers many want to consider to upgrade to teacher edition for a fee, which allows users to upload images and audio to their flashcard sets. Teachers can track the progress of their students with the teacher edition.
Students do not need a login to use Quizlet but it is easy for students to create their own accounts- they can use their Gmail or Facebook to log in. Students can review content on their cell phones with an application.
