Pillars of History Learning module
This Learning Module was created using Adobe Captivate. Since Captivate does not allow access to its products unless you are a subscriber, I made a Camtasia 9 screencast for individuals to see what I have created. If you are interested in the learning objects in greater detail, please visit the video pages on the page label "Pillars of History".
CHANGE LOG
07/27/17: I created the first version of the Pillars of History on Adobe Captivate. This version had the first video on geography, which included a multiple choice question and matching assessment. Received feedback from the professor and classmates about first version.
07/31/17: I embedded the second video on geography in the program with a matching assessment. Second, I embedded the Economy Podcast as a button in the program with a multiple choice and fill in the blank assessment. Third, I embedded the Politics Powtoon in the program with a multiple choice and true/false assessment. Fourth, I embedded the Religion Moovly in the program with a multiple choice assessment. The final home slide was added with a summative assessment rubric at the end of the program and a external link to canva website. Finally, I added corrective feedback when students answer or miss a question. All changes were successful on this day.
08/01/17: I added a home screen star button to each slide. I added a box to divide the Geography section which allows learners to go to video one or two on the home screen. All changes were successful on this day.
NEXT VERSION: I would add the ability for text to be read to learners while reading the program. I would like to add images to assessment section to help learners understand the content better. I would like in the Economy Podcast the ability for learners to stop and pause the recording to listen to important facts. I would like to add another pillar in the title page since the Geography section needed to be split- the change I did on 08/01/17 was necessary, but I did not have enough time to create a new title screen.
