Assessment of Learner Achievement
After the lesson, students were assessed on their posters they made using a teacher made rubric. Also, students were assessed by a five question multiple choice quiz.
Evaluation of Strategies and Resources
Students were asked informally of what they thought of the lesson. The primary goal of these conversations was to evaluate how effective the resources were in engaging the students in the learning process.
Revisions
During the lesson, the only reported problem was that the instructor had difficulty navigating the Tiny Tap website to the next activity related to cells. However, the unplanned activity was good because the learners were engaged in the process and picked up some valuable review. No issues were stated- if there was issues, they would have been resolved.
