Lesson Objectives
1. Given a video on cells from Flocabulary, students will differentiate between the various organelles and explain concepts on cell theory by taking a quiz as a group and achieving eighty percent accuracy on that quiz.
2. Given Interactive Whiteboard materials on cells from Tiny Tap, students will explain the different organelles of the cells by completing the game with eighty percent accuracy.
3. Given Interactive Whiteboard material on cells from Sheppard Software, students will explain the different organelles of the cells by completing the quizzes on animal, plant, and bacteria cells with eighty percent accuracy on each topic.
4. Given a video on cells from Brainpop, students will explain the functions of cells by a quiz and achieving eighty percent accuracy on that quiz.
5. After completion of objectives one to four, students will make a poster of each cell (animal, plant, and bacteria) and label each organelle of that cell with eighty percent accuracy.
